Vigorous expansionists Turkish Airlines have boosted the Somali city of Mogadishu's progress towards normality and restoration of links with the world by inaugurating a twice weekly service from Ankara.
There's no pleasing everybody though. Al Shabaab have decried the move as a Turkish effort to undermine local traders and to poison the population with time expired foodstuffs.
